Meet Debbie Turner
Turner's Treasures was created in 1987 when my second son, Matthew was born and I wanted to be home with my two sons. I had always had a love for old and unusual antiques. My parents enjoyed hunting for treasures so I grew up with this passion. So my new career at home started very humbly setting up a booth at an outdoor drive-in movie venue that also had an outdoor flea market. Now, thirty-plus years later, my passion is as great as ever. The difference is, I have built an enormous collection of vintage and antique jewelry and boutique collectibles that are very much in style today.
In addition to being in several shops, we are always at Scott Antique Market on the second weekend each month and at Lakewood 400 Antiques Market, the third weekend. In the spring and fall, we participate in wonderful festivals across the southeast. That's where you may discover more than our usual fair ... we keep our customers guessing what we just might bring! Check our event schedule to see where we will be next!
About twelve years ago, my friend Gary joined me in working the monthly shows, and now my son, Matthew, will be helping with the online shop. He has a wonderful eye for design. I'm sure you will love the more masculine treasures he brings to the family business.
Over the years, we have gained a wonderful following of loyal customers that have also become friends. We always try to listen to what they are looking for and we actively hunt for things that are perfect for their collections. We always look forward to seeing everyone at our shows or festivals!
